Green tea is good for PCOS? How do I treat PCOS?
Tasha30sFemale
I had a consultation with doctor yesterday and I was diagnosed PCOS.
I've read that green tea is good for PCOS.
Is there anything that I should take? How do I treat this?

Yes, green tea is very good, because it is rich in antioxidants, does helps with your inflammation. It is also very good for your liver health because our liver is another important organ to metabolize hormones. So, that's why green tea is also very good for PCOS.
One or two cups of green tea every day is good. But not excessively. Because sometimes, excessive green tea will affect your sleep quality and your stress level. So, that is why try to keep it moderate, amount, of one to two cups per day.
There is no cure for PCOS. However, you can reduce your symptoms of PCOS, such as losing weight, taking the right supplements (eg, COQ10, Omega 3, DHEA, Vitamin D3, Acetyl) and medications (eg, metformin, oral contraceptive pills) and monitoring your period cycle.
