Yes, it affects both your fertility potential and egg quality because iron is one of the main elements in our blood circulation. Iron deficiency affects our blood circulation. Poor blood circulation affects our menstrual cycle and how we ovulate. It will affect the egg quality because iron is one of the main components in our red blood cells. If our red blood cells are not able to transport all the nutrients to our eggs, the quality of our eggs will be poor as well.
