Answer from the Doctor
The two most common causes of embryo implantation failure are:
> The endometrium is rejecting the embryo or the endometrium is just not ready for the embryo implantation
> Chromosomal abnormalities
If you have experienced implantation failure for more than 2 times, you may send the embryo for Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies (PGTA) to screen for chromosomal abnormalities. With PGTA, embryo(s) without any detectable missing or extra chromosomes will be selected for the implantation. This will help increase the chances of implantation and pregnancy.
